Assistant Town Planner

(i) Should possess post-Graduate degree or Diploma in City Planning or its equivalent making him eligible for Associate Membership of institute of Town planners (India) or (ii) Should possess Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or should be an Associate member of Institute of Engineering (Architecture) of a recognized university or institute and who have an experience of working in Town Planning work for a minimum period of three years.

Note Candidates with qualification at (i) above shall be given preference.

From amongst the planning Assistants working in the Board who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of six years and who have Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or from amongst the Planning Assistants who possess Associate membership of institute of Engineering (Architecture)and who have and experience of working as such for a minimum period of three years.
From amongst the Assistant Town planners who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of Two years in any department of the Government [State Government undertakings]

By Promotion of the cotton Officer working in the Board who has an experience of working as such for a minimum period of three years.
From amongst the incumbents holding similar or identical posts under the Government of India a State Government.
10.
Senior Marketing Officer Horticultural (Grading)
(i) By promotion; or 

(ii) By transfer on deputation 

By promotion of Horticultural Officer working in the Board who has an experience of working as such for a minimum period of five years.
From amongst the incumbents holding similar or identical posts and who have an experience of working on such posts for a minimum period of two years in the Department of the Agriculture and Forests (Horticulture Wing) of the Government of Punjab.
11.
Deputy Legal Adviser
By promotion
From amongst the Superintendents Law working in the board have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of three years.
12.
Project Engineer
(i) By direct appointment; or(ii) By transfer on deputation
(i) Should be a B. Sc. Agricultural Engineering or B. Sc. Engineering of a recognized university or institute; (ii)Should possess knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation standard.
From amongst the Project Engineers who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of three years in any department of the Government of Punjab or Semi-Government organizations.

Assistant District Mandi Officer

From amongst the Secretaries Market Committees working in the board who possess Degree of Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) of a recognized university or institute and who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of three years.

System Analyst

(i) Should be a Post-Graduate in Physics, Statistics or Mathematics of a recognized university or institute and should have an experience of working as Programmer for a minimum period of three years under the Government of India, a State Government or any institute of repute or should possess Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science of a recognized university of institute and should have an experience of software for a minimum period of three years under the Government of India, a State Government or any institution of repute.(ii) Should possess knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation Standard.

From amongst the System Analysts who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of two years in any department of the Government of Punjab.
15.
Horticulture Development Officer

(i)Should be a M.Sc. Agriculture with Horticulture as one of the subjects, M. Sc. Land Scaping, Floriculture of B. Sc. Agriculture with Horticulture as one of the subjects of a recognized university or institute and should have an experience of working in horticulture activities for a minimum period of three years.(ii) Should possess knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation Standard.
From amongst the horticulture Development Officers who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of two years in any department of the Government of Punjab.
16.
Architectural Assistant

From amongst the Publicity Supervisors working in the board who possess Degree of Bachelor of Arts or bachelor or Science of a recognized university or institute and who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of five years.
From amongst the Public Relation Officers who have an experience of working as such for a minimum period of two years in any department of the Government of Punjab.
20.
Assistant Statistician

From amongst the Personal Assistants working in the board who have an experience of working as such for three years.

Note : In a lot of 10 vacancies, 6 vacancies shall be filed in by promotion and four by direct appointment. 

Should possess Degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture of a recognized university or institute with rural background. Provided that person with rural background holding Master's Degree in Agriculture Economics of a recognized university or institute will be given preference.(ii) Should possess knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation Standard.
